Heads Up – Round 2 Small Business Adaption Grants
Opens 1 July 2020
BE READY! This grant will exhaust very quickly.
The Queensland Government is extending the Small Business COVID-19 Adaption Grant Program. As part of Stage 2, up to $100 million is being made available to deliver a second round of grants, with half of this funding specifically earmarked for regional small business located outside of South East Queensland.
This round, businesses must employ one or more staff, other than the business owner. Read more here.
Australia Posts Community Grants Program 2020
Closing 17 July 2020
Provides grants up to $10,000 to connect individuals and communities through projects that:
- increase opportunities for individuals to experience meaningful connections that enhance mental wellbeing
- support mental health awareness and early intervention to help people understand how to stay mentally well
- help people access mental health support at a local level.

RACQ Foundation Grants

Initially set up to support community groups impacted by natural disasters, the RACQ Foundation is now extending funding to support those impacted by COVID-19. Read more here.
Queensland Mental Health Week Grants
Closing 5pm 24 July 2020
The total value of the grant program is $95,000 for events or activities that will
- Increase community awareness of, and engagement in, mental health and wellbeing
- Promote education and understanding of mental illness
- Foster inclusion of those living with mental illness, their families, carers, and support people.

Community Road Safety Grants

Funding of up to $20,000 for the development and delivery of effective road safety education and awareness initiatives. Read more here.
Active Restart Infrastructure Recovery Fund
Opens in Stage 3, July
Grants of $20,000 for minor capital works and support for 3000 clubs to purchase revenue-generating equipment to support Return to Play. Further information will be provided when released. Read more here.
North Stradbroke Island Workers Assistance Scheme – Employer Wage Subsidy

The provision of a wage subsidy will be paid to eligible employers who engage an affected worker in permanent employment as follows: up to $10,000 per worker if the permanent position is in Southeast Queensland and up to $4,000 per worker if outside SEQ. Read more here.
