Gambling Community Benefit Fund (GCBF) Round 122
Closing 30 November 2024
Everybody’s favourite GCBF is open NOW, offering up to $35,000 in Round 122.
The fund opens (usually) four times per year, with the November round being the last round annually. The fund supports community organisations to provide services, leisure activities and opportunities for Queensland communities. It typically has a 4-5 month assessment period and is always highly over-subscribed. Applicants are encouraged to be persistent with their projects and understand that it may take a few applications to eventually be successful. Check out this link.
COMMUNITY GRANTS
Growing Regions Program Round 2
Closing 10 October 2024
Funding between $500k up to $15M. For community focused infrastructure which creates and enhances amenity, liveability and social cohesion throughout Regional Australia. More info here.
Lord Mayor’s Better Suburbs Grant – Community Facility Category
Closing 14 October 2024
Funding up to $200,000. Provides funding to improve, develop, and maintain Council community-leased facilities. Check this link.
Aurizon Community Giving Fund
Closing 25 October 2024
Grants up to $20,000. For projects in health and well-being, community safety, environment or education. Read here.
QLD Disaster Assistance Loans
Closing 31 December 2024
Funding of max $250,000 for primary producers & businesses and max $100,000 for NFP. Located in the Logan, Scenic Rim & Gold Coast local government areas can apply. To repair or replace damaged assets like plant & equipment, to repair premises, or to replace stock & maintain liquidity. Loan term up to 10 years. Read here.
Brisbane Lord Mayor’s Community Fund
Closing 13 June 2025
Brisbane City Council’s Lord Mayor’s Community Fund supports community projects that build stronger communities in Brisbane. Grants up to $10,000. Read here.
Submit an Idea – School Transport Infrastructure Program
Funding of up to $500,000. For projects that improve the school safety through new/improved infrastructure including Drop & Go zones, fencing, bike paths, parking etc. Typically 50-50% funding or up to 100%. More info here.
Opening Soon – Infrastructure for Multicultural Organisations
Opens October 2024
Grants of up to $20M over 3 years from 2025-26. For projects such as construction, upgrade or extension of infrastructure that provides demonstrated benefits to multicultural communities. To be eligible your project must be investment ready (or ‘shovel ready’), meaning construction can begin within 12 weeks of executing your grant agreement. More info.
Opening Soon – Multicultural Grassroots Initiatives
Opens November 2024
Grants of up to $100,000 over 2 years from 2024-2025. For multicultural events, multicultural amenities on intercultural connections like sports or arts program. More details.
Forecast Opportunity – Multicultural Peak Body Funding
Opens December 2024
Funding of up to $400,000 per year for 4 years. For peak body and community organisations to continue to play a pivotal role in strengthening Australia’s multicultural capacity. Read here.

QLD Tourism Business Digital Adaption Program
Closing 30 November 2024
Rebate of up to $2,500 & free support to improve digital capabilities. For QLD tourism operators. More info here.
Manufacturing Energy Efficiency Grant Program Round 2
Closing 30 June 2025 or until funds are exhausted
Funding of up to $50k. For QLD SME manufacturers to implement energy efficiency measures including LED lighting. Check this link.
QLD Business Energy Saving and Transformation Rebates
Closing 30 June 2025
Rebates up to $12,500 for small to medium businesses. To help with the costs of purchasing & installing energy efficient equipment. Rebate is 50% of the GST exclusive amount. Minimum spend of $8,000 GST exc. Read info here.
